With fashion season in full swing we thought we'd take a look back at some of the key trends to come out of London Fashion Week SS14.
So another #LFW is over and what a week it was! With a number of established labels such as Burberry and Mulberry showing off their latest SS14 collections as well as the newcomers including Simone Rocha and Madham Kirchhoff, it was always going to be an exciting week for trend watching!
Black and White
With some collections containing only black and white pieces, this trend is sure to big for SS14. Osman, Simone Rocha and Mulberry opted for this minimalist style with a mix of materials to give it an updated feel!
This was one of our favourite trends to emerge from London Fashion Week. The classic, ladylike look is sure to feature heavily in your wardrobe next spring. With high-waisted A-line skirts and matching blouses, this look is delicate and romantic.
Texture & Embellishment
Some of the most eye-catching looks to come of out fashion week played with different textures and detailing. From Matthew Williamson's floral beaded designs to Christopher Kane's textured dresses, SS14 will be anything but dull!
We first saw this trend emerge at Marc by Marc Jacbos last week in New York and London did not disappoint! Matthew Williamson, Burberry and Mary Katrantzou were among the many opting for pale hues and springtime pastels in ultra-feminine shapes.
